I AM DAVID
In Langza’s hills, a hero’s tale,
David Thiek, a valiant trail. Kuki-Zomi-Hmar-Mizo defender, brave and bold,
His story, in our hearts, we hold.
The Meitei militants, in heartless sway,
Beheaded our hero, on that fateful day.
His body, desecrated, amidst the fire’s roar,
But his spirit, undying, forevermore.
In unity, we’ll rise and fight,
Against the darkness, seeking light. Through grief and pain, we’ll stand tall,
Condemning hate, we’ll heed the call.
For all our martyrs we’ll strive, for honor we’ll fight, In one accord and fortitude, we’ll show our might.
