More than 4000 arms and over 5 lakhs ammunition were looted by the Meitei in the State Armoury in the Imphal Valley. Out of which only about 1000 were returned.
These looted arms and ammunition were used to attack the Kuki-Zo villages and terrorize the Villagers.
